The mission of the Watertown Fire Department is to provide high quality fire protection for our community. We will safely and aggressively protect life and property through fire suppression, fire education, medical response, and rescue services.
What We Do
Watertown Fire Department provides fire, rescue, and emergency medical response to the City of Watertown, as well as the surrounding communities. We operate two main engines, a heavy rescue, a brush truck, and a medical first response truck. The department is powered by an all volunteer force of individuals who respond day or night to serve their community. Along with emergencies, we also assist with a variety of community events, visit our local schools to assist with fire prevention, and seek out opportunities to interact with our citizens. Our members are trained to in fire suppression, vehicle extrication, water and technical rescue, hazmat response, and various levels of emergency medicine. Our members take pride in the profession, and find every opportunity to train.
