Engine 21 is a single cab International E-One pumper carrying 1250 gallons of water. E21 responds first out for motor vehicle accidents and fires within the city limits. E21 carries a set of extrication tools along with structural fire equipment.
E22 (The Deuce) is a quad cab International Fire Brothers pumper carrying 1000 gallons. She's the workhorse of Watertown Fire. E22 responds first out to vehicle fires and structure fires outside the city limits.
Reserve Engine 1 (previously E21) is currently used as a training unit to keep our mainline engines in service for calls. This Ford E-One carries 1000 gallons of water and a minimum complement of tools for training or emergencies.
Engine 24, or Reserve Engine 2, is a 1967 Ford Custom pumper. She has served Watertown for decades as a main line engine, and now is mainly used for parades and public events. E24 is kept in working order, and maintains a working pump, firefighting tools, and is always ready to fight fire.
Rescue 21 serves as the Heavy Rescue for Watertown and Southeast Wilson County. Also referred to as the "Beast of the Southeast", R21 carries more extrication equipment, rescue gear, EMS equipment, and can function as a mobile incident command center.
B21 is the wildland specialist for the Watertown area. Carrying approx 400 gallons, B21 also carries a large compliment of fire rakes, flappers, spare hose, and wild land equipment. B21 also assist with environmental emergencies and off road rescues.
Squad 21 is our EMS First Responder vehicle. Watertown responds with Wilson EMA on all medical calls in the Watertown, Norene, and Statesville area. S21 carries emergency medical equipment and a small compliment of rescue gear. S21 is often used to carry WEMA ambulance crews to gain patient access in restricted areas or off road.
